System Monitoring Dashboard

Functional Art

Dashboards are tools for understanding complex systems, but they don’t have to be boring. This project merges the utility of a server monitoring tool with the aesthetic of a futuristic “hacker” terminal.

Data Visualization

We used D3.js to build custom charts that look like they belong on the bridge of a spaceship. Despite the stylized look, the data representation remains accurate and easy to read.

Key Components

• Real-time Metrics: CPU, Memory, and Network traffic visualized with live updates via WebSockets.
• Terminal Emulator: A fully functional command-line interface component for executing system commands.
• Theming: A dark, high-contrast theme with neon accents to reduce eye strain and look cool.
